What I Saw This Past Weekend (March 19 & 20, 2011)

Saturday, March 19

LEASHED!  I'll give credit where credit is due.

This arch is from an old bridge pier that I thought was part
of the "Civil War Bridge," because it's in line with the
row of piers that run across the river, but the keystone says 1884.
(Or is it 1864?)
Neither of those dates match any of the construction dates
for the several bridges that were built on those piers.

The "supermoon," as seen from the Columbia High School grounds
(with a little help from Photoshop).

Sunday, March 20

At Glatfelter's Field were these two obvious signs
of spring . . .

Also . . .
. . . a gate . . .

 . . . branches . . .

 . . . barrels . . .

 . . . a small nest . . .

 . . . stands . . .

 . . . and windows at Anvil.
