What Else I Saw - 10/29/11 - Snow Pumpkin

This gal didn't let the snow ruin her Halloween.

What I Saw - 10/28/11 - Occupy Columbia

Well, why not?
River Park would make an ideal site.

What I Saw - 10/27/11 - Halloween Parade

The rain stopped just in time, but the temperatures took a nosedive.  The parade went on as scheduled.

What I Saw - Wednesday, October 26, 2011

Apparently, the parade is still on for
tomorrow, despite the forecast for rain.
Signs such as this one lined the parade
route along Locust Street today.

Norfolk Southern workers removed
part of a steel column at the tracks
next to the entrance to River Park.

What I Saw - Saturday, October 22, 2011

Occupy Lancaster

Occupiers held placards along Prince Street.
The numbers were small, but the spirits were high.

Some signaled their message.

Some organized their tents.

Others hung out and talked.

Speaker Kip Adams talked about corporate
personhood and how it could establish
an aristocracy.

Others joined the discussion . . .
and made their viewpoints known.

Some simply listened . . .

as did this police officer.

The police presence was much smaller than at
Occupy Wall Street, but the police were right next
door to the park.

According to the organization's Facebook page
HERE, a Halloween party might soon be planned.
