I'm told that Mayor Lutz mentioned the pic at last night's council meeting.

mr mayor - i hope you are reading this. read story above. the TAXPAYING RESIDENTS ARE FED UP !!!
something as simple as each and every taxpaying homeowner (NOT RENTALS - THEY SHOULD BE MADE TO HAVE ALL OFF STREET PARKING)should have, in front of their dwelling, a parking space....to hell with the lazy neighbors and especially with saving parking spaces during the snows because of lazy ignorants.

we the taxpaying homeowners mUST take a stand. we MUST take back OUR town. we mUST attend mtgs. TONIGHT IS A SPECIAL BORO COUNCIL MTG.........for what ??????????

Anonymous said...

thinks HE owns this town

do something for the strapped taxpaying homeowner - give em what they should have - one parking space in front of their property....if they have more than 1 vehicle they'll have to rent a garage, get rid of cars, or make arrangements with someone else, put in off st parking and USE IT, and landlords should be forced to put in off street parking EVERYWHERE HUMANLY POSSIBLE.

i agree. seems like evverything in this town is for the renters. parking is a SERIOUS PROBLEM AND SHOULD BE DEALT WITH ASAP

AGAIN yesterday IN THE RAIN my neighbor parks 3 vehicles out front - in frontof MY house, and my other neighbors house.....then i have to park almost 2 blocks away !!!!!! this is SOOOOOO WRONG. this needs to change NOW....councilpersons-take this to your committees or regular council mtg for discussion.

yep, i agree too. WHY don't all these rental properties be required to put in off street parking ???? that'd be a start. i'm sure all couldn't, but the ones that could - SHOULD.
then, assign 1 (ONE) parking space per address in front of the taxpaying homeowners property. ..that should be a given, i pay the taxes at this property i own and i'm responsible for fixing for and paying for sidewalk, removing tree, etc. THIS IS TRULY SOMETHING THAT SHOULD COME TO BE - THE SOONER THE BETTER. it's time to LISTEN AND RESPOND to the taxpaying homeowner.

yes, i agree also. this is a HUGE problem EVERYWHERE - not just downtown areas. COUNCIL, take this under your wing and DO THE RIGHT THING...spend some time addressing a serious issue in this boro. it really won't be hard. each address has 1 parking space. time to put in off street parking or use the garage if you have one.....this is a very serious and frustrating problem.

Anonymous said...

this makes sense...1 parking spot with each homeowned property..it should have happened years ago.
are you listening ????

this is really a no brainer. the boros mgmt really needs to find a way to please taxpaying homeowners and THIS IS IT !!!!!!!!

i have to say that i agree with this one to. our taxes are the 2 nd highest in the county. the taxpayers are the only ones keeping this boro afloat. especially, we who shop at our local stores and purchase our things locally.....we don't ask for much. let's get a trial started. i'll volunteer our block first. it's VERY frustrating that you have LAZY, IGNORANT neighbors who think they own every property on the block and therefore are too lazy to use their garage so they park 3 or 4 cars in front of my house,my neighbors, etc...this is SO WRONG>>>>>and its DAILY......

sigh, i'm so mad i can't stand myself. i'm trying to get ready to go away for the weekend and i can't even park in front of my house to load my car. REALLY ?????? wow, this is great. park 2 blocks away and carry everything.

These are all legitimate concerns. Citizens need to make them known at the next council meeting.
