What's Wrong with This Picture?

700 block of Manor Street, March 23, 2011, 4:21 p.m.

"Always park in the direction traffic moves."

I guess the QRS driver missed that part.

I could answer that. But I would suggest calling Mr. Splain and asking him. Apparently he still hasn't gotten enough of "those" phone calls yet. Your life could be in these peoples hands...and they can't even obey traffic laws?

You have a point. Whether they like it or not, they have an obligation to set an example and maintain a professional image, due to their position and standing in the community. I'm not trying to "beat up on them" by publishing the pic. I'm just trying to emphasize that actions have consequences, and people do notice things. Having said that, I do believe QRS provides a valuable service to the Borough.

Chances are the QRS provider was also a firefighter and coming up Manor St. while heading to the firehouse for a call. It happens quite often actually, be it that its usually not the QRS. This happens for the unfortunate reason that the borough refuses to allow a "firefighter only" parking area except for the sidewalk infront of the station which usally only fits 4-6 cars when youre in a rush to park. That being said often times responders heading to the station and coming up manor st park this way so they will not have to bypass the firehouse to the parking lot, turn around and then come back. If you could give me a time and date of this picture id be more then glad to check and see if there was a firecall at that time.
