The bad news is they are still parking on the grass at the River Park, as of this afternoon (Sunday). (See previous article below.)
The good news is a red tape was placed across the area behind the vehicles, in line with the KEEP OFF GRASS signs as an attempt to keep vehicles from backing up any further.

So, to whomever is making an effort to solve this problem: THANK YOU.
However, I noticed this morning that the grass is a little browner where the vehicles are parking. I know all the grass is dry right now, but there is a distinct boundary between this area and the rest of the (slightly greener) grass. I'm concerned, because the grass in that part of the park is newly planted and needs time to "take hold."
